24' Fitz waterwheel from about 1900 The 100+ year old wheel was badly rusted....time to rebuild
The Water Wheel Factory delivers the 24 new bucket sections Red powder-coated bucket sections
Bucket sections ready to be transported across the creek In order to transport the bucket sections across the creek, a steel zipline was installed from the sluicebox at the top of the wheel to a tree across the creek
The old bolts were cut out with a torch A new bucket section is brought in
The old bucket sections were moved out of the wheel pit area to the other side of the creek
